Life coaching, drawing from existential-congruence theory, is a collaborative process that helps individuals clarify and accomplish their life goals. It emphasizes the exploration of one's desires, values, and beliefs in life. The primary goal of life coaching, within this framework, is to empower individuals to take proactive steps in aligning their life choices with their authentic selves, fostering personal growth, and cultivating a sense of purpose and fulfillment.
Coaching can be focused on three main areas: existential issues, relationships, and wellness. Each coaching session is dedicated to working on a specific goal, and clients may have multiple goals they wish to address.
